Alan Weston has been in the sign trade for about 30 years,
After doing a commercial art course and then tech course in 1985, he started working in signage industry as a part time player. Later in 2006, he decided to leave the full time job and invest in some better equipment and dive into the signage business completely.
He has always been an artistic person, playing with colours and paints. This helps him with the artistic part of his business. He has worked as a brush man on vehicles, boats and shopfronts, and he has experience in Airbrush work. He had bought a small plotter/cutter in 1995, but now he mostly uses computer cut and digital printing.
Alan’s son Simon has followed his dad’s footprints and he also has his own sign business. He is blessed with dad’s qualities and therefore, he operates a very busy workshop near to Alan’s workshop.
